About this workshop
Pyrolysis technology plays a crucial role in the thermo-catalytic conversion of biomass and waste plastics by enabling their efficient transformation into valuable fuels and chemicals under oxygen-free conditions. Through controlled thermal degradation, pyrolysis breaks complex organic polymers into bio-oil, syngas, and char, reducing waste volume while recovering energy and materials.
This workshop aims to bring pyrolysis researchers from southeast Asia together to discuss latest developments and direction on Pyrolysis research for Biomass and Waste Plastics Conversions. Researchers, working in pyrolysis, catalytic pyrolysis and copyrolysis are welcome to present your work and expand your professional network.
